Shafik Brown, son of Shafik Hirji, has filed two new bankruptcies in recent days. Brown filed bankruptcy for Gizmo Empowered, Inc. He is listed as the registered agent, president, secretary, treasurer, and director of the entity, as listed on the Nevada Secretary of State website.
Brown also filed bankruptcy for S550 Investments, Inc. He also is listed as the registered agent, president, secretary, treasurer, and director of the entity, as found on the Nevada Secretary of State website.
These filings come only about a week after Shafik Brown’s brother, Rahim Hirji, created and filed three new business entities with the Nevada Secretary of State — two new Furniture Fashions companies as well as a new Purrfect Auto Services entity. Shafik Brown and Rahim Hirji acting as nominees and proxies for their father, Shafik Hirji, have learned well from “Shady Shafik” (in my opinion) for always trying to stay one step ahead of the law and the courts as they play a shell game with the various businesses tied to them (i.e., Furniture Fashions, Purrfect Auto Service, USA Auto Service as well as a number of other now shuttered business entities — other Furniture Fashions stores, Olivia’s Mexican Restaurant, Hatari Restaurant & Sports Bar, as well as two Champagne Salon & Spas locations.)
